How Much Will Your Next Imaging Procedure Cost?

No one likes surprise bills. When you need a service, health-related or otherwise, you want to know how much it’s going to cost before the bills are due. At American Health Imaging, we appreciate that, and we want you to know that we make a dedicated effort to eliminate surprises, so you can get the care you need without worrying about what it will cost.

Advanced Imaging at Substantial Discounts

At AHI, you have access to advanced medical screenings at fees 63% to 78% lower than what you would pay at a hospital. To help you understand your financial obligation, we provide insurance pre-authorizations and can give you an estimate of your procedure before your appointment. You can also learn your potential out-of-pocket cost by using our cost estimator tool. We give you one bill, unlike at hospitals, which can often surprise you with multiple billing techniques, sending separate bills for the imaging exam, pharmacy, medical supplies laboratory and the radiologist’s report.
If you have a high-deductible health insurance plan, it’s important to shop around to get the best price for the healthcare services you need. In many cases, doctors who order imaging exams default to their affiliated hospital’s imaging department or outpatient imaging center for a referral. However, you can request a more affordable option, such as AHI—and neither you nor your doctor will settle for exams of inferior quality.AHI has invested in the latest technology to ensure high-quality screenings and more accurate diagnoses. Low-dose CT scans, the Advanced Open MRI by ASG Superconductors and a stand-up MRI are just a few of the advanced technologies available to you.
We also offer:
●Arthrograms for a more comprehensive view of orthopedic problems
●Accelerated Breast MRI™ that offers more detail, without radiation, than traditional mammograms
●Digital X-ray, which delivers lower radiation exposure than traditional X-ray
●FibroScan, a non-surgical alternative to biopsy that can help diagnose liver disease
●Myelogram, a detailed imaging test for spinal injuries and abnormalities
●NeuroQuant® 3D Image Processing for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions
●Vertebral Motion Analysis (VMA), an advanced functional exam to uncover lumbar and cervical spine instabilities

Safe, Sanitized Facilities

We understand you may feel uneasy about visiting a medical facility during the coronavirus pandemic. However, delaying important preventive or diagnostic screenings could allow potentially serious diseases to go undiagnosed or injuries to cause long-term damage. In addition to rigorous cleaning and disinfection practices that have always been standard at AHI facilities, we have taken a number of steps to keep patients safe, including:
●Curbside check-in from your car
●Extensive screening of all employees before they begin their shifts
●Extensive screening of all patients before they enter the centers
●Regular sterilization of commonly touched items, such as door handles, pens and clipboards
●Social distancing practices in place in our waiting rooms
●Touchless concierge service experience for patients
